Let's start with the basics. My name is Rick Surles and I've been involved in construction, remodeling, and making for well over three decades. During that time I also worked in the pet supply industry for 20 years. I've been involved with a variety of animal disaster and rescue organizations and foster programs over the decades. Over time I've become focused on feral cat assistance. (Sorry, I can't take the cat you found, this inn is full.)

Over the last couple of years, many people have taken a long hard look at what they want to do in life, myself included. I found myself trying to decide whether I wanted to focus on doing handyman services or building cat furniture, toys, shelters, etc., and finally concluded that I'd be happiest doing both, so here I am.
